This 3/4" round bottom snap fits nicely on 5/8" wide flat reins, but it works great on round reins or braided nylon. This is also a common snap used on heavy romal reins. If you need to remove your reins from the bit while you are out trail riding, having swivel snaps attached to the bit end of your reins makes it an easy task. It also makes for a quick change if you are switching reins on your bridle or changing out your bit.
