The halter is made out of leather and chain. The crown piece is adjustable like any other halter would be. The noseband is one set size, but the chain underneath the chin will adjust according to the size of the mule.

The noseband measures 13 1/2" from bottom of ring, over the nose, to bottom of opposite ring. The overall length of the halter is about 48" from one side of the noseband, over the poll and down the other side to the bottom of the noseband again. It can adjust 8" shorter. The leather is 1-1/2" wide.
