Breyer Classic War Horse Joey Book and Horse Set

In October 2007, War Horse was brought to life on the stage at London's National Theatre, the result of a brilliant collaboration by the Handspring Puppet Company and directors Marianne Elliot and Tom Morris. The production moved to the West End in 2009, and it opened in New York City April 2001 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. War Horse also attracted the attention of director Steven Spielberg whose live action film War Horse, filmed entirely in England, opened December 2011.

Michael Morpurgo's War Horse is the internationally acclaimed book that recounts the story of World War I as seen through the eyes of cavalry horse named Joey, and a boy who loves him, Albert.
